A packed Saturday night slate for Oregon Tech’s Danny Miles Court will see some time changes after a visiting basketball team had a change in their flights.

The Oregon Tech volleyball game against Bushnell University was moved up an hour to 5 p.m. on Saturday, John Van Dyke, Tech’s athletic director, announced Thursday morning. The game was originally scheduled for 6 p.m.

Then at 8 p.m. the Hustlin’ Owls basketball team will take on the semi-pro Seattle Mountaineers in an exhibition matchup. That game was originally scheduled for 3 p.m., but the Mountaineers had to make a change in their flights that made the afternoon tip-off untenable.

“With the Mountaineers’ flights being changed, it made the original 3 p.m. tip-off impossible,” said Justin Parnell, OIT’s head coach, in a release. “A big thank you to everyone for being flexible, especially Bushnell University and their athletic director, Corey Anderson, for being willing to work with us on game times.”
