The Lady Owls' volleyball squad claimed their sixth straight win on Saturday night, sweeping a winless Walla Walla after going five sets with Lewis-Clark State the night prior. 

"Great job this evening by the team executing both from the service line and offensively," said head coach Ken Murczek in a release. "Look forward to getting in the gym next week in preparation for our Seattle trip

Kaylin Talonen was named the conference Volleyball Attacker of the Week after she dropped team highs of 19 kills on Lewis-Clark State and 9 kills against Walla Walla. 

Another Owl also got conference honors as Courtney Isom was named the Volleyball Setter of the Week after she dropped 92 assists in three matches last week. Isom supplied 52 assists in the Wednesday win over Southern Oregon, 29 against Lewis-Clark State and 12 against Walla Walla. 

OIT sits third in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. No. 6 Corban leads the way with No. 13 Eastern Oregon just ahead of the Owls. 

This coming weekend, the Owls will head north to Washington to take on Northwest University on Friday and Evergreen State College on Saturday.
