Goodbyes hurt the most when the story was not finished... Julie and Steve Fisher and Jon and Cynthia Putman lost their 37-year-old son Cody Putman on December 28, 2021. Cody was born February 1, 1984, in Portland, Oregon. He grew up in Klamath Falls with Julie, Steve, and Jon Tyler (JT) and spent time in Portland with Jon, Cynthia, and siblings Cory, and Rachel. He spent most of his adult life in Klamath Falls working and raising his family. Cody was a jokester, lyrical poet, and devoted father; a shining light and a true force to be reckoned with. He had a fun and wild personality bigger than life; he could make you laugh until you cried! He was an amazing artist and his talent for writing lyrics was unmatched, he was a rising star! Cody had a keen fashion sense and hoped one day to have his own clothing label. He had a talent for design and was known to look sharp from head to toe. Cody was a special person, his creativity and ingenuity made him a natural entrepreneur, and his most recent endeavor "Absolute Auto Detail" had all the potential for success if he had been able to finish his story. Cody loved his children Osytn, Aidan, Sam, and Knightley more than anything. He had a special bond with his daughter Knightley and the precious years with her were some of the happiest moments in his life. The smiles seen on their faces when Cody painted her nails, was a snapshot of their joy and love. His eldest son Ostyn joined Cody in fighting fires during the recent and historic fire seasons. He also left behind his dog and best friend "King." "No one is actually dead until the ripples they cause in the world die away." Terry Pratchet. The ripples Cody left in the world and in so many people's hearts will live on for years to come. Cody is survived by his fathers Jon G Putman and Steve Fisher, mothers, Julie Fisher, Cynthia Thompson-Putman. sons, Ostyn Ericks Putman, Sam, and Aidan Porter, and daughter, Knightley Raine Putman. His former life partner, Danni Porter (Kaler), brother, JT Putman & sister-in-law Ashlee Stine, niece Ellie Putman; step-siblings, Cory & Rachel Thompson, James & Kyle Fisher, and Sarah (Fisher) Galbreath. Aunt & Uncle, Brad & Kathy Kennedy, Uncle, Mark Bothum; cousins, James & John Nelson, Randy Ransom, and Alex Webb. Special friends Lissa Cook, Carina Sensenig & Shar Justice. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and so many more friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Gail Putman, Keith Bothum, Pat Connell, Lorraine Bothum, Jim & Myrna Gerhardt; and aunt, Kris Ransom (Putman).
