Jimmy John’s is officially slated for Klamath Falls, according to building permits filed through the county.
Klamath County building records from December 2018 confirm that a 1,300-square-foot, $173,000 project at 2984 S. Sixth St., includes a new Jimmy John’s sandwich shop franchise.
The owner is listed as Curt Baney Inc., a Bend-based group that has also been known to specialize in hotel operations.
The most recent permits file include building inspections at the beginning of March. It is not yet clear when the new Jimmy John’s could open.
No media contact for the company could be located as of press time. Calls linked to the owner connected to local “Oxford Hotel” offices, though no other contacts could be reached.
Curt Baney Inc. also owns property at the TimberMill Shores development in downtown Klamath Falls.
Jimmy John’s has dozens of stores across 23 cities in Oregon, with two of the nearest being in Medford. There are more than 2,800 nationwide, according to the company’s website, jimmyjohns.com.
