Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 13-14

 Agility trials will be held by Klamath Dog Fanciers starting at 8 a.m. both days on the Klamath County Fairgrounds. Attendance is free.

 "Castle in the Sky" screenings at 11 a.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday in the Ross Ragland Theater. Tickets before transaction fees are $10.

Saturday, Oct. 13

 Farmers Market from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Ninth Street between Main Street and Klamath Avenue.

 A free walking history tour of Link River will be held at 10 a.m. by the Klamath County Museum. It will focus on river bed features exposed by the low water level of Upper Klamath Lake at this time of year. Putman Point at the north end of the river off Lakeshore Drive will be the starting point. The walk will cover about a mile and last about an hour. Dogs on leashes will be welcomed.

 Klamath Rationalists, Free Thinkers, Atheists, Skeptics Meetup from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. In Gaucho Collective at 1038 Main St.

 Bonanza Cares will hold its Fall Festival from noon to 4 p.m. at Bonanza Big Springs Park. Attendance is free with the acquistion of scarecrow kits costs $10 and have everything needed to build a scarecrow. Future Business Leaders of America students will serve food in the cookshack and there will also be pumpkin carving, face painting and refreshments.

 Banquet, talent show and queen coronation in Merrill Civic Center at 4 p.m. preparatory to the 81st Annual Potato Festival to be held on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19 and 20 in Merrill.

 An Octoberfest Celebration will be held at Hope Lutheran Church at South Sixth Street and Homedale Road with a social time at 5:30 p.m. and a dinner of German food at 6 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for children ages 5 to 12, and free for chidlren 4 years old and younger. Proceeds will benefit the Meals on Wheels Program.

 "Night at the Cemetery at the Linkville Cemetery.” Ticketholders will know the starting time. Tickets available in advance at the Klamath County Museum; no tickets will be available at the event.

 Reverse Raffle Thirty with dancing, a smorgasbord, and available drinks in the Ross Ragland Cultural Center at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 or $50 for two.

 National Astronomy Day will be celebrated with a star party on Miller Island Road at dusk on Saturday. From Highway 97, follow Miller Island Road west and south to the dead end of the gravel road. Large portable telescopes will be available for viewing. Anyone who would like assistance setting up their privately owned telescope is encouraged to come early.

 “Monster Mac's Murder Manor” at 8 p.m. in Klamath Basin Community Center at 707 High St.

Sunday, Oct. 14

 A fall tree walk and a tree problem panel will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Klamath Community Arboretum at Oregon Institute of Technology. Attendance is free.

 Old-Time Fiddlers will hold a jam and dance from 1 to 3 p.m. in Shasta View Community Hall at Madison Street and Shasta Way.

Monday, Oct. 15

 Meals for senior citizens 60 years old and older are served at 8:30 a.m. in Who Tavern at 15468 Highway 66 in Keno. They are free with freewill donations accepted.
