“Learn to Pray and Heal – (a spiritual adventure)” is the title of a one-hour presentation exploring the healing effect of faith, spiritual understanding and unselfed love to be sponsored by Christian Science Society at 806 Oak Ave., on Sunday at 3 p.m., according to a news release.

“Lord Prayer: Thy Kingdom Come” from Matthew 6:9-13 will be the title of the sermon by Pastor Matthew Bissonnette at the 10:45 a.m. Sunday service in Church of the Nazarene at 2140 Carlson Drive, according to a news release.

“Resilience At The Wall” Elijah’s Story from 1 Kings 19 will be the title of the sermon at the 9:30 a.m. Sunday service in First Presbyterian Church at North Sixth and Pine street, according to a news release.

First United Methodist
The title of Pastor Phil’s sermon will be “The Gospel According to Winnie the Pooh” based on Luke 24:13-35 at the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service in First United Methodist Church at 230 N. 10th St., according to a news release.
Special music will be provided by the Aldersgate Ringers Bell Choir. Singing of favorite hymns will be at 10:15 a.m.
Pastor Faith will bring a meditation titled “We are Created in God’s Image!” at the 10 a.m. Sunday worship service in Friends Church (Quaker) at 1918 Oregon Ave., according to a news release.
There will be space for silent reflection between 9:30 and 10 a.m.
“Go Tell Share” from Luke 8:26-39 will be the title of the message by Pastor Lou Schneider at the 8:30 and 11 a.m. Sunday services in Hope Lutheran Church at South Sixth Street and Homedale Road, according to a news release.
A fellowship and coffee hour will be held between the services at 9:45 a.m. Sunday school will be held at both services for younger children.
Donations for a yard sale can be brought to the church during the week prior to the sale to be held on Friday and Saturday, June 28 and 29.

Methodist lay leader Dave Glidden will share a sermon titled “Peace with God” based on Romans 5:1-5 at the 10 a.m.Sunday service in Mt Laki Community Presbyterian Church at 12570 Highway 39, according to a news release.
