All evacuation orders for the Two Four Two Fire were lifted at 9 a.m. Tuesday as crews have stopped the growth of the 14,500-acre blaze that destroyed eight homes.

Access to Highway 422 north was reopened Tuesday at noon. Highway 62 and Road 422 will remain closed to the public. Only residents can enter those areas.

As of Tuesday morning, the fire has not grown and remains at 14,536 acres while containment increased to 15 percent.
