Shop with a Cop event put on by community

On Dec. 17, law enforcement officers from agencies throughout the Klamath Basin partnered with Walmart and Steen Sports Park to host our annual “Shop with a Cop” event for local children.

Multiple people and businesses donated money that police officers used to purchase Christmas gifts for local children and their families. This event provides an opportunity for police officers to demonstrate our passion for our community and ensure children have a very merry Christmas.

It is a wonderful illustration of the Christmas Spirit and the compassion those in the Klamath Basin share with each other. Our community rallied together and donated almos $16,000.

To all the law enforcement officers, volunteers, and donors, please accept my sincere thank you. The Shop with a Cop Program continues to succeed because of you.
