KU seniors earn foundation scholarships

Pelican Education Foundation, a local foundation that supports the Klamath Falls City Schools, recently awarded $1,000 in scholarships to six Klamath Union High School graduating seniors. Shown here, from left, are Kimberly Hole and Yanitza Hurtado-Mora, whose scholarships were made possible by a contribution to the foundation by the Dalla Costa family, Nathan Girdner and Aaliyah Powless, whose scholarships were from a gift from Wayne Scott, and Grace Anderson and Skyler Maupin, whose scholarship were from the Paul Angstead Fund. With them at the right is the school’s principal Tony Swan.
