Tombstone Tales

A presentation on local history as viewed from the perspective of burials at Linkville Cemetery will be given Thursday, Sept. 22.

Tombstone Tales will be presented by the Klamath County Historical Society at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept 22 at the Klamath County Museum meeting room.

Presenters Carol Mattos and Bea Naylor will tell the stories of residents of the Linkville Pioneer Cemetery. Attendees will hear about the couple who were considered the last victims of the Spanish Influenza epidemic, a very shady chief of police and a man from a carnival side show plus other interesting characters, some upstanding citizens, some not so much.
