Two performances of “The King Is Coming,” the 33rd annual evening-length dance production presented by Carla’s … The Dancers’ Studio, will take place on Friday and Saturday evening, June 14 and 15, at BBC Ministries, 4849 S. Sixth St. Curtain time for each performance is 7 p.m.

“The King Is Coming” celebrates the fact that “good things come out of the abundance in one’s heart,” notes Carla Brannon, the owner and principal choreographer of Carla’s ... The Dancers’ Studio. Ballet, pas de deux (partnering), jazz, tap, modern, hip hop and gospel dance styles are featured and performed to a mix of music that includes pop, Broadway, classical, modern, Christian and gospel. The dancers range from 4 years of age to over 80.

General seating tickets for the production are $8 to $10. Reserved seating is $12 to $14. The lower-priced tickets are available to students, seniors and members of the military.

Tickets are available in advance at For His Glory Books & Gifts, 2550 Altamont Drive. Tickets will also be available at the door beginning one hour before curtain time and may be purchased with cash, check or credit card.
