The use of non-certified woodstoves and fireplaces as well as certified wood stoves and pellet stoves are allowed countywide. Outdoor burning is prohibited inside the Air Quality Zone today.

The 2017 Spring Open Burning Window for residents inside the Air Quality Zone will begin on April 1, 2017 at 10am and run through April 16, 2017 at 5:00 pm when conditions allow. Please check daily through our local media outlets and our Facebook page, Web Page and 541-882-BURN to see if the weather conditions permit burning for that day.

Outdoor or open burning is allowed today outside the Air Quality Zone provided the requirements of the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, Oregon Department of Forestry and the local fire district are met.
