HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) — Six men accused of talking to minors online and going to a location for sex were arrested after a targeted effort by the Washington County Sheriff's Office near Portland, Oregon.

The Oregonian/OregonLive reports the men were arrested Thursday.

The sheriff's office says deputies posed as 15-year-old girls and boys on dating websites and social media. The sheriff's office says the men contacted the undercover deputies and were arrested at a location where they thought they would meet the teens.

The suspects include men from Beaverton, Oregon City, Bethany, Portland and one from Washington state.

They were charged with luring a minor and first-degree online sexual corruption of a child.
