Work has begun to move the Oregon State University Klamath Basin Research and Extension Center’s offices from Vandenberg Road and consolidate it with the site on Washburn Way, near the Klamath Falls Airport.

Director Willie Riggs said the site at Washburn Way is being prepped for the used modular buildings the Klamath County bought last December. Riggs said the buildings will be delivered in late August.

One building is in the Salem area and another is in Oregon City. The one in Oregon City is “brought up to code and ready to go,” Riggs said.

After the buildings are delivered they will need some finishing touches like painting and carpet. Riggs is planning on moving his office in late September.
