Klamath Falls

Sunday

  • 10 a.m.: Fourth of July parade downtown
  • 9:30 or 10 p.m.: Fireworks along the eastern shore of Lake Ewauna

Alturas

Saturday

  • 9 a.m.: Fandango Days Parade lineup
  • 10:30 a.m.: Parade downtown march begins
  • 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Quilt show at 110 E. First St.
  • 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Booths open at Veterans Park
  • 2 p.m.: Barbecue, horseshoe tournament, sand volleyball and games at Cal Pines Lake
  • Fireworks to begin at dusk over Cal Pines Lake

Sunday

  • 7 to 11 a.m.: Alturas Chamber of Commerce serves a pancake breakfast at Alturas Airport during fly-in by the Experimental Aircraft Association

Malin and Tulelake

Saturday

  • 6 p.m.: Classic car cruise in downtown Malin

 

Sunday

  • 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Parade in downtown Malin followed by classic car show at Malin Community Park
  • 1 to 6:30 p.m.: Free swimming at Malin Park Swimming Pool
  • 4 p.m.: Tulelake Tillers 4X4 mud bog races at Tulelake-Butte Valley Fairgrounds with $5 admission charge
  • Fireworks show to begin at "dark thirty"

Chiloquin

Saturday

  • Noon: Independence Day Parade begins at Chiloquin Elementary School and ends at Chiloquin Community Center; barbecue at Chiloquin City Park follows, along with a community fair

Lakeview

Sunday

  • Noon: Lakeview Rotary Club's annual Wild Goose Chase at Drews Creek
  • 5 p.m.: Independence Day celebration at the Lake County Fairgrounds begins
  • Fireworks display to begin at dusk

Dorris

Sunday

  • 9 a.m.: parade through Dorris ending in City Hall Park
  • 11 a.m.: bell toll in City Hall Park followed by F-15 flyover
  • Noon: barbecue in City Hall Park, $5 for youth, $10 for adults, free for children 11 and younger
  • Afternoon activities include choral music, benefit auction and youth activities
