An iconic part of Klamath Falls scenery toppled in winds Saturday as a winter storm blew through the area. Lone pine, a dead tree at the top of Hogback Mountain, was a destination for hikers, and according to Herald and News archives, died in 2008.

The Klamath County Museum has led several hikes to the 6,200-foot summit of Hogback Mountain, including a trip to pay respects to the decades-old tree after it died.

What winter storm? I've seen one good storm in the past 15 years!

What color red should KU use for Pel Court?

What red is the real KU red? It might sound like a simple question, but when designing the new look of Pel Court, it's not so simple. The design team for the Klamath Union High School renovation discussed aesthetics and interior design features for the athletic wing recently.
