Initial reports indicate a 4-year-old child was ejected from the car
A Fort Lewis, Wash., man was cited Friday morning for a child safety belt violation after he lost control and rolled his car on Highway 97 one mile north of the Kla-Mo-Ya Casino, leading to the injury of a 4-year-old girl in the backseat.
The girl was sitting on the lap of the rear center passenger without a seatbelt, and was hurt the most seriously, according to information from the Oregon State Police.
Three passengers were transported to Sky Lakes Medical Center with injuries. Read more in the print edition of Saturday's Herald and News.
