OIT win men’s exhibition basketball game
Oregon Tech senior Joshua Wetzler was afforded a little taste of home Monday night at Danny Miles Court.
One of the Hustlin’ Owls’ career rebounding leaders, Wetzler heard his native national anthem and then went out and turned in a double-double performance to help his team post an 85-76 exhibition victory over the Bendigo Braves.
“It was Mike Nieraeth who was the star,” Wetzler said after the first of two games against the Braves, the second game taking place at 7:30 p.m. today.
