" All this stuff serves to amuse me. It is my passion and my hobby. I just think it is funny how anybody can be so blind to reality with the power of the internet at our fingertips. Basically I think the same about you as you think about me.
Those that think like you call me an "extremist" and those who think like me call you "koolaid drinkers". To bad you won't learn how to use a search engine. Your world hangs in the balance. "

" Gee Fireye,
"When it finally gets outlawed I will move out of the city."
Do you promise???
I've been reading your comments on several subjects...You sound like you need some anger
management.
It's scary to know that people with such extreme, off-the-wall attitudes are wandering the streets in Klamath. "

" I find it funny how some are crying about all this air quality stuff and yet NO ONE ever seems to bother to mention our skies being turned white day after day by chemtrail spraying. (please do not insult me by telling me they are "normal contrails" either) I know what is in that spray, why they are doing it and who is doing it and if anybody out there with even half a brain would bother to investigate, it will make your blood run cold what you will find. So don't tell me I have to freeze because you can't breathe. Are so many really so blind that they never ever bother to look up at the shy anymore? How on Earth can so many people not notice the skies being turned white day after day!!!!!!
Any meeting about woodstoves is like a meeting about gun laws....we know where it is headed. So why don't they just go ahead and make it illegal to burn wood for heat?....thats what they want anyways. They just have to find some way to get us all paying the corporations so the stockholders will make money when we are forced to buy their gas, electricity, heating oil or pellets because we don't comply with Federal standards. Well woopie do!
I don't need to attend this meeting because in my world it is black and white when it comes to woodheat. When it finally gets outlawed I will move out of the city. Somebody always has to be messing with our most basic elements of survival because they know we have no choice in the matter and it will be easy money for those who are always looking for ways to make life more difficult for the majority by using the minority as they're excuse to do so.
The chemical concoction that is rained down upon all of us day after day as they turn our skies white is making people sick everywhere and it's connection to Morgellons disease is starting to look pretty concrete. If you really want to scare yourself put the term "Morgellons disease and chemtrails" in your search engine.
The genie is already out of the bottle so don't cry on my shoulder about petty woodsmoke. I won't forget to mention slash burning as well.
I say take your federal standards and put them where the sun don't shine and you proponents of endless growth are suicidal maniacs anyways. If you had your way we would all be living like the Chinese and Bengaladeshi's stacked on top of each other.
THAT is my two bits worth on this subject. "

" Does it seem strange that except for people with chronic lung disease, they only want people who are the primary cause of the problem? How about including healthy people who want to stay that way too? "

" In the1990's, Klamath's air quality problem was with larger particle matter, called pm10.
Now the issue is smaller particulate matter called pm 2.5. The smaller
particles have the characteristic of binding with pollutants and carrying those nasty substances deep into our lungs. Exposure to pm 2.5 is associated with lung disease and cancer.
In the 1990's, Klamath worked hard to lower output of pm10. For instance,
we got rid of lots of old, poorly-functioning wood burning stoves.
Now we need to do a lot more work to get down our exposure to pm 2.5. Our
health and our economy depend on it. "

" I urge anyone with lungs to attend the county's air quality focus group.
Here's a little background on Klamath's current air quality problem:
Klamath and Oakridge are the 2 places in Oregon that are out of compliance with federal air quality standards. What do I care, you may ask.
Being out of compliance has health consequences -- we have a high rate of asthma and Klamath children have high rates of breathing problems.
Not being in compliance also cripples our economic development efforts by scaring away new businesses, imperiling federal highway funds, and giving our community a black
eye -- who wants to move to a place with a reputation for unhealthy air?
For our health and for our economy, our county needs to get to work SOON solving Klamath's air quality problem. Let's put this problem behind us. "
