OIT women fight back, beat Corban
Posted 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008
Corban entered this weekend leading the Cascade Collegiate Conference in fouls, which meant Oregon Tech would be in for a physical battle in Saturday’s match at Trevor Derrah Field.
When the Warriors pushed, the Hustlin’ Owls fought back on the scoreboard.
Dacarie Robertson scored off a free kick in the 63rd minute, and Janelle Stoner added a short-handed goal eight minutes later to lead OIT to a 2-1 victory over Corban and keep itself in prime position for a home conference playoff game.
