KU football rolls past Eagle Point

EAGLE POINT — Klamath Union spotted Eagle Point a quick 7-0 lead and then rolled past the Eagles, 35-14, Friday to maintain its share of the Southern Sky Conference football lead.

KU, which won its fifth straight game, upped its league mark to 2-0. Ashland, which plays at KU next Friday, came from behind to beat Mazama, 24-19, and also is 2-0 in conference play.

Friday, the Pelicans came back from their early deficit to take a 21-7 lead into the locker room at halftime, and added to their advantage in the third period.
