KU hopes to continue football roll

Thursday, October 16, 2008 12:06 AM PDT
Klamath Union has been on a roll for the past month, routing four straight opponents by a combined score of 143-34.

KU closes its regular season with key Southern Sky Conference battles against ninth-ranked Ashland and Crater. For those games to carry significant Class 5A football playoff implications, the Pelicans (4-3 overall, 1-0 SSC) must carry the momentum they have built into Friday’s game at Eagle Point (3-4, 1-1).
