More than 42,000 marijuana plants eradicated in Siskiyou County

Two arrested in connection with the operation

Tuesday, October 14, 2008 1:14 PM PDT
The Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office Marijuana Eradication Unit, sheriff's deputies and U.S. Forest Service officers eradicated more than 42,000 marijuana plants Oct. 9 from the Barkhouse Creek area off of Highway 96.

Rafael Aguilar Madrez, 20, of Urauapan, Mexico and Edgar Alfredo Abrego, 24, of Paso Robles, Calif. were booked into the Siskiyou County Jail on charges of cultivation of marijuana, selling or furnishing more than 25-pounds of marijuana and possession of marijuana for sale. Each are held in lieu of $50,000 bail.

The plants were growing in tall Manzanita brush. Many of the plants had been harvested and were in the drying process, according to a release from the Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office. The Herald and News will watch for further news for this site and for it's print editions.

" I don't have any problem with pot. I DO have a problem with pot grown by foreign cartels and guarded with weapons on our national, state and county forest land. YOU could wander into that on a hike through the woods or while hunting. Legalize it and make it unprofitable to come to the US and grow it. "

" Something about this article has a funny smell to it. Like when somebody said here lately that there was "a large number of marijuana plants" involved in a murder in Bonanza. In the end there was more like six plants. Since when was six plants a "large number"?.

I find this "42,000 plants" absolutely comical and I don't believe a word of it. Talk about a waste of public resources. To bad the Sheriffs dept can't realize that they are nothing but New World Order soldiers working on the orders of past corrupt criminal industrialists and politicians. So it looks like so many will never realize that they have been the victims of a government propaganda campaign of disinformation and corruption to the highest degree because they refuse to investigate the history of hemp on their own.
Ok so if they aren't interested in the truth about marijuana or hemp and they don't care how many lives they destroy in their misguided efforts what am I to think?
That these people are on our side and are supposed to be our "protectors"?
What are we supposed to do when our law enforcement blindly obeys whatever law is put before them no matter how corrupt or wrong it is because "it is the law". So if a law is arbitrarily written by evil men to just shoot us down in cold blood I suppose they will do that to because "it is the law". This will full blind ignorance to a truthful reality is what is destroying our country. Why can't they see who it is that they are really serving by locking up people for growing the most useful plant known to man?
The only kind of people that still want to keep hemp illegal are the insecure and propagandized ignorants that refuse to learn and educate themselves about the TRUE history of hemp and prohibition. They like all the prison building police state tactics in our world because it makes them feel safe at the sacrifice of OUR liberties.
To bad so many have to suffer at the hands of these uneducated and fearful people.
Someday I hope those who hate us in their ignorance someday have somebody in their family get sick and find themselves in need of a natural and ultimately safe medicine as compared to corporate "legal" poisons designed so the corp's can profit off of keeping you sick and addicted never mind the outrageous prices they charge.

To be facing 50 years in prison because someone didn't have their "paperwork" in order is the mark of an insane society. This is what someone I know is facing because they didn't have their "papers in order". Their should not even have to be any paperwork involved when you wish to grow your own medicine. I guess corruption and ignorance will rule till the end. "
