OIT women’s soccer team ties College of Idaho

Sunday, October 5, 2008 12:40 AM PDT
CALDWELL, Idaho — Oregon Tech coach Bryan Mueller hoped his women’s soccer side could pick up a point on the team’s longest league trip of the season.

With a 1-1 tie Saturday against The College of Idaho, the Hustlin’ Owls did better than that — they went 1-0-1 to gain four points and kept the host Coyotes from moving into the Cascade Collegiate Conference lead.

Saturday’s point, however, did not come easily.

For more college and high school soccer, see page B5 of Sunday’s H&N.
