Police investigating suspicious death

Man found dead in North Hills area

Saturday, October 4, 2008 9:30 PM PDT
The Klamath Falls Police Department is investigating a suspicious death in the North Hills area.

A 25-year-old man was found dead in the bedroom of his shared apartment on Friday, according to a police department press release. Next of kin has been notified, but because of the ongoing investigation, authorities are not releasing the man’s name. Officers on scene determined the circumstances were suspicious and notified detectives.

The Klamath County Major Crimes Team and the Oregon State Police crime lab are involved in the investigation, which is ongoing.

See Saturday’s print edition for more on the story — updates also will be posted online.

" We have had two suspicious murders or deaths in the past few days. Both are still under investigation yet, in one case they choose not to release the name of the deceased. WHY????
I stress that both are still under investigation. What is the difference between the two incidents? "
