Klamath Falls part of air service coalition

Klamath Falls Airport Director Derek Martin’s goal is to get a new airline to fly northbound to Portland by Oct. 11, the day after northbound carrier Horizon leaves Klamath Falls. Now he has help.
Airport directors and cities across the state are pooling time and resources to draw a commercial airline to serve their cities northbound to Portland, the state’s business port. The Oregon Commercial Air Service Coalition, created by Gov. Ted Kulongoski, includes Klamath Falls, North Bend/Coos Bay, Pendleton, Portland, Medford, Redmond, Eugene and Salem, as well as Oregon businesses, chambers of commerce and tourist destinations.
