The band performed Percy Grainger's “Green Bushes,” “Fantasia” by Mark Camphouse and “The Ascension” by Robert W. Smith.

“It's been a great honor to work with such fine students,” said band director Charlie Moresi. “They came through with a wonderful performance.”

The symphonic band also was recognized by the Oregon School Activities Association as being in the top 10 academic bands in the state. Its members have an average grade-point average of 3.51.
