Henley Elementary Students will attend classes at Henley Middle School and Henley High School this fall, although officials had not determined as of Friday which grades would be assigned to each building. It was also unclear if Henley Elementary students will begin the school year on time. The short-term classroom solution results from Thursday's school board decision to close Henley Elementary School because of health concerns and mitigation costs. Asbestos was found in the school attic Aug. 12, adding to a list of problems parents and staff members have complained of over the past year.
“The right decision was made,” acting superintendent Greg Thede said of the board's vote. “We're still researching and costing out long-term options.”
Bringing modular classrooms onto the Henley complex is one possibility, Thede said. “We're also looking at possibly moving Henley Elementary to Falcon Heights and relocating the district office,” he said.
Registration
Henley Elementary School registration will be Wednesday and Thursday at the Henley High cafeteria, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m.

" I came across this article and find it very interesting. My grandad was the "Southwell" in Southwell & Stilwell :) My dad and uncles were raised in Klamath Falls until they moved to the Portland area. "

" It appears the two negative reader comments are associated with the wrong article, as they do not seem to relate. It's unfortunate they are appearing after reading such a nice article about this concert. "
