Extension center to host onion, mint meeting

The University of California Intermountain Research and Extension Center will host two focus group sessions next week.
The sessions are intended to help the extension officials to develop research efforts over the next three years.
The two-hour meetings and topics are:
Tuesday, Dec. 16, 9 a.m.: Sustaining onion production in the Klamath Basin.
Tuesday, Dec. 16, 1 p.m.: Sustaining a mint industry in the Klamath Basin.
Both sessions dare open to the public. They will be held at the center's Tulelake office at 2816 Havlina Road. For more information, call (530) 667-2719.
